My 15-year-old daughter collected seven items to post to online selling site Music Magpie in an attempt to raise money to help pay towards vet bills for our family dog, who was seriously ill.
Music Magpie agreed to pay £79.43 for the items. My daughter was at school, so I handed the parcel over to the courier when they called and received a confirmation slip. It is now 22 days since then and my daughter has still not received payment.
I contacted Music Magpie. It blankly refused to do anything, as the parcel had got lost and I had not made a claim within seven days. It instructed me to contact DPD, the courier company. DPD insisted that the request for a search had to come from Music Magpie….
